Johanite

Johanite Warrior of Maltesian Order (full name - Christian Order of Saint John) is dressed in black linen armour, black surcotte and black woolen cloak. Although color of the order was red they used black in Holy Land and shortly after their return to Europe. Because of that clothing here evokes period before ca 1270. The cross with 8 edges reminds of eight knight virtues. It should be 20 cm wide. (It was extended to fit proportions of the owner to 23 cm).
