Catany

   She is from Zlin, city in Czech Republic and her major hobbies for last ten years (except making these pages- www.kostym.cz) are study of history, mainly clothing, sewing of costumes and historical fencing.

   Her costumes are conditioned especially for performing and this means limitations off adherence to period. But you can find here also some clothes without any compromise.

Nobleman

according to Codex Manesse (1300-1320). Brocade surcotte, woolen cotte, hose, linen shirt and trousers, shoes. 

Noblewoman

according to Codex Manesse (1300-1320). Woolen surcotte, woolen cotte, linen shirt and headdress. 

Brocade shoe

for aristocracy made of leather covered by brocade. Ca 1300 - 1450.

dress based on illumination at Kepes Kronika (ca 1360). Gold brocade, sateen, linen.
