Henrican gown

   Henrician gown in English style (ca 1525 - 1530) is based on portraits and drawings by Hans Holbein the Younger.
The costume is fully hand-sewn. First layer is a linen smock with blackwork embroidered cuffs. Next layers are a black linen petticoat and a black linen kirtle with slightly stiffened bodice, linen skirt and brocade forepart.
  The neckline is decorated with brocade, small jewels and pearls. The gown is made of black dupioni silk and black silk velvet, front lacing is covered with separate plackard. Neckline is covered with two pieces of white silk secured by pins.
