Rococo shoe buckles

Shoe buckles served for buckling up of shoe tongues and were used by both men and women, but they were also a decoration. Shoe buckles were made of different materials (brass, steel) and had a different decoration. Shoe buckles could be also a part of a bigger jewelry set, which can contained shoe buckles, belt or racks buckle and a set of buttons. These shoe buckles are made of brass and trimmed with strass and they were made as a part of a robe à la polonaise reconstruction.
