Regency child's redingote

  The child´s redingote is outer clothing in case of bad weather. The redingote is made according to a fashion plate from Modes de Paris, Costume d´enfant, 1810, No. 17 of woolen cloth lined with linen and trimmed with cotton velvet. The redingote is buttoned with a twisted cord loops and cloth covered buttons. All is hand sewn.
