Other part of the outfit is handsewn pair
of stockings made of white knitwear.. Stockings are fastened
with satin garters made according to original ones dated to
around 1775 located in Bavarian National Museum in Munich
(flexible parts are made of metal springs as in the original).
Another necessary accessory is two hand embroidered pockets
made according to the original from 1725 - 1750 located in
Snowshill Manor in England (see J. Arnold). Shoes are fastened
with typical rococo shoe buckles made by goldsmith according
to period originals. |
