A French nobleman's costume

A dark blue cotehardie ( cotton velvet, padded with synthetic blue silk, with silver buttons and embroidery), mi-parti tunic (blue and white synthetic silk), a hood or chaperon (dark blue cotton velvet, padded with white synthetic silk), red separated hose and braie (both flax linen). I inspired myself again by lovely illuminations from medieval manucript " A romance of Alexander" (Flames, 1344). The main seams were made by machine but it is intirely finished by hand and all visible seams inside-out are hand stitched.
