Costume according to the fashion of Philip III

Presented scenic costume intended for fencing exhibitions is inspired by the fashion at the court of Philip the Good, the Duke of Burgundy in the year 1447. The artwork was an illustration in Chroniques de Hainaut painted by Rogier van der Weiden. The costume consists of linen underwear, red joined trousers and green upper layer. The hat is called a chaperone.
